5.0 mileage
Looking at a used 13' F150 Platinum with 129,000 mi. 5.0L motor. Looks great but haven't driven it yet. Has a clean carfax with buy back quarantee. How many miles can I expect to get out of this motor with good maintenance. I'm 69 and want this to be my last vehicle purchase.

Scafman that is why I bought mine I am 69 and have had it for only a year. 48500 on the od and getting around 22 23 miles per gallon. I am impressed with the 5.0 motor nice and smooth and plenty of power. Now after all of that I think I am going to get rid of it and get something like a flex or encore for the wife.Mine is a STX two door extended cab and two wheel drive and still is to tall I could lower it for around a grand but she needs to or we need to get her one last auto also and the 08exploder only has 148,000 on it and runs strong but tired of it . When I completely quit work I will get me another truck but not one so tall. I have my 55 F-100 and a HHR for work .
