Mine has height adjustable shackles, but yeah, the new trucks are too high for most of the 5vers pre- dated 2010.

Which drain? We didn't get the one that flooded the storage

Mine has them too, but the axles are 4" drop axles and they were over the springs.

Very nice Byron! Good find, my 08 was in storage and not used very much also. We looked for three years before finding it.

Thanks Glenn! the guy that owned it previously was Harley guy and some kind of metal worker. He took really good care of it. I remember looking at KZs at an RV show back in 2008 and how bad I wanted one. They really were ahead of themselves back then and it shows even today, 9 years later. This thing is built to last a long time. I don't evens see new ones built this well. Now it's all about saving a coin.

Scott, I am an idiot. LOL!! Sorry about that. I was reading back and realized you were asking about my drain, not the rig we looked at. Anyways, I did get it fixed. What I ended up doing was cutting the pipe off right where it goes into the underbelly insulation and then extending it down before running it across to attach to the exit. I had to drop it about 5 inches to run in underneath the axle rather than between the axle and frame. Now it has more than enough clearance from road debris and axle flex. It wasn't ideal, but it was really my only choice with out raising the trailer, which I definitely did not want to do.
