I asked and it appears that no one has ever taken one apart to repair the console and reupholster the jump seat. I have decided to do it myself and will photograph each step if anyone is interested. I am thinking about buying the new upholstery from LMC and dying it dark grey while removing the existing upholstery from the jump seat and dying it since there is no damage to it. Does anyone know a good plastic welder. I want to repair a crack on the console lid before I repaint it back to black. I live in Houston Tx. Thanks

 

Good luck - i am in Tomball if you need help. You WILL break the console upon trying to remove it from the seat.

 

Why, it is held in with staples. You just remove them and ebay has several of the plastic consoles for sell so it appears that they can be removed.
