Front Seatbelts - raise height?
On my 2001 F-150, the seatbelts up front are run from the top of the seat rather than the frame of the door (like most cars). This creates a bind on my shoulder, since I am tall (6'5"). I've had this truck for 16 years, and I used to be able to tolerate this better. I'm usually tucking the shoulder part of the belt behind me and only using the lap portion of the belt, which isn't so great from a safety standpoint.
Is there some way to lift up the seatbelt mount or extend the distance upward? I don't really want to buy another truck just because of this issue.
