I just talked with my machinist about that yesterday. His opinion is if you are running studs not to worry about it. He said he has pulled a lot of fire rings out because of leaking. I do run them on my race car and haven't had a problem with them. I'm not going to do them on mine. Up to you though Gabe. Good to see ya.
Thanks for your input Darin. I haven’t heard of any one doing them on these trucks until today. I didn’t think it would be necessary for what I will be doing with my truck. It sounds like a pain to line every thing up with the motor in the truck.
From my understanding fire ringing is for engines that didn't come with to many head bolts/studs from the factory and that fire ringing is to take the pressure of nitrous, boost and what not or am I wrong?
