10 spd auto

will they work behind a gas engine or do they only work on diesels?

A transmission doesn’t care what powers it. For some reason It will not attach the picture but the 2018 F-150 with a 5.0L has a 10 speed automatic. Fixed it.

You mean the 10R80 on the new F150? That pretty much only bolts up to the new engines ... Not sure you're in the right section for this

The profile shows a 1995 F-150 but I am not sure where this question is going.

just wondering if it would fit behind a 351 in a 95. but it probably needs a different ecm. i suppose they don't have aftermarket yet.

Nope.. not the same bolt pattern so won't even bolt up. 10spd is 4 speeds too many anyway, even Fords control strategy for this thing in the new trucks skips gears under normal driving conditions.
