Supposed to talk about trucks around here but what the heck - the '91 F250 diesel just keeps purrin' like a big ol' kitten but the wife's Windstar mommy-hauler is drivin me nuts. On a cold start when shifting from Park to Reverse we get a range of noises from buzzing to whining, sometimes with a churning like a dishwasher is running. Shifting into any forward gear and holding for about 5 seconds BEFORE going to Reverse stops the noises. It's a '95 with 75,000 miles. I need some ideas before my torque converter shreds! Thanks....
