Sync and Iphone volume issue

Sync and Iphone volume issue
Maybe I'm missing something. Every time my phone syncs up with Sync the volume on my Iphone gets turned all the way up. When I get out of my truck and the phone rings is scares the crap out of me lol. Anyway to stop this?

A few months back, another member posted the same question as you and someone chimed in with a fix.

I haven't found a fix in 1.5 years so if anyone has one, I look forward to hearing it. My iPhone doesn't have this issue with any other vehicle except my SD and Polaris General. Same thing when you disconnect. The volume gets left at full volume.

I had to go into Settings/Sounds and turn off "Change with Buttons" for the volume selection. Unfortunately, then you obviously can't change the ringer volume easily with the volume buttons, but it prevents the ringer from going to full volume when disconnecting from Sync.
