Wiper arm replacement

I'm having difficulty in retro-fitting some replacement wiper blade to my '93 LWB. Bosch MicroEdge (use on my Voyager and love them) states compatibility with my Aero, yet I can't seem to find any sort of release mechanisim for the existing arms. HELP!!

Wiper arm replacement

Is it the wiper arm or the blade?
Either one you can get off with a regular screw driver.
Let me know which and I'll post a picture of what you are wanting.

Wiper arm replacement

I'm trying to replace the part of the wiper arm that actually holds the blade. The spring is completely sacked on one side and actully broken on the other. Thanks.

Wiper arm replacement

1. Cycle arm and blade assembly to where removal of blade assembly can be performed without difficulty. Turn ignition key off at desired position.

2. To remove blade assembly, insert screwdriver in slot, push down on spring lock and pull blade assembly from pin.

3. To install, push the blade assembly on the pin so the spring lock engages the pin. Make sure the blade assembly is securely attached to pin.

Wiper arm replacement

1. Raise arm off windshield to specified dimension. Refer to Dimension Chart in. Move slide latch away from pivot shaft.

2. Remove blade and arm assembly.

NOTE:
No tools are required to remove blade and arm assembly. For installation, follow removal procedures in reverse order.

Wiper arm replacement

I'm going to have to replace my wiper arms, I have already replaced them with some from a junk yard, but they are no better than the ones I had.
My wiprs tend to "float" at highway speeds, its as if the spring just don't have enough tension to hold them against the windshield.
