1972 F100 Ranger XLT - What's it worth?

I have a 1972 F-100 Ranger XLT longbed. There is a motor and tranny, but they are in the bed of the truck. The body is solid, no through rust anywhere, cab corners, cab mounts, body panels, etc are all solid. It was originally an Arizona truck until 2014.

I have the title, the original owners manual, as well as the original bill of sale. Truck came with a 360 V8, but now only has the 300 ci - inline 6 motor with it.

I was thinking of asking $2000.00 for it, but I don't know if i should ask more or less?

Any input would be appreciated.

yeah, you're probably right. I just don't want to spend the time to part it out.

You may want to list it in the correct forum, so that members with similar trucks can chime in. Most if not all of us have '73-'79 pick ups.

Nice start on a project an looks solid , I would ask $3000 an come down , might get a buyer but to me its hard to find the right buyer to get $2000 or more for a solid truck , and it is a project , you will get a lot of people offering $1200 to $1500 , and if you list it on craigslist after a local listing I would also list in ky an tn , ill , and some surrounding areas as good buyers will travel for a solid project, , ebay use to let you do a classified listing, unsure if they still do an it is better than auction because much cheaper and gets more of an audience

Clean bed and tailgate is 1500 easy.
clean cab is 800
doors are 500/pr
rear axle 150
engine and trans 300
misc 200

so 2k complete if someone knows the value of clean sheetmetal in OHIO seems pretty fair!
