i have an "03" F150 king ranch that started doing a rotational squeek similar to brake drag and got louder to what sounded like two pieces of rubber. it had nothing to do with speed or braking. if you stop completely it goes away. it may start up again within a mile or it may come back 500 miles later. this has been going on for 8k. i had the front hub assy replaced and it is still doing it. what might the problem be? i hate to keep throwing money at an unknown problem.

 

Front hub or failed CV shaft, try posting in the correct year forum.

 

If the truck has a two piece driveshaft, look at the carrier bearing.
