2004 Ford Escape XLT
My escape is at 180,000 miles and has been through a lot in the last three years. Hit n run, second accident, passenger rear wheel housing rebuilt, driver side the same, coil over failures, crank sensor replaced, hail damage twice and now shocks/struts. It's a great 4x4 used as daily driver but now comes time to replace all four corner suspension shocks. Any info on what fellow escapees are putting on their ride would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea what is a good shock/strut anymore, haven't bought in over twenty five years. A little help please, thank you.

I can tell you what not to buy: Monroe. I put them on my wifes 03 and I'll never do that to myself again. Terrible service and terrible product.
It will be interesting to see what responses you get because its time to do it again at 285k.
