Auxillary Spotlight Placement?
I am considering installing an aftermarket police style spotlight on my '72 F100... Most mount on the window pillar but it appears that it's too narrow to do in that fashion... Would it be possible to mount it on the cowl? Has anyone installed one? How is a factory one mounted?

I have one on my 69 that I believe is a factory job. If it isn't, someone did a very good job on it. I'm not sure if you can see it very good in my gallery. That was the only picture I could get to "upload" when I did the gallery. Check it out and I'll see if I can get a better photo up and running so you can see it.

MAC's Ford Truck catalog has mounting brackets listed, its on page 208 if you have the catalog. The picture shows a typical bracket, but there is a part number just for 67-72's, right and left side brackets are listed. If their website doesn't list it I can send you the part numbers.
