I bought a used 2003 Expedition from a local NON Ford dealership, so far everithing has woork out fine until my wife asked me to activate the keyless entery for her, I read the info in the manual but I dont have the "card" in the glove compartment or the manual potfolio. Can any one tell me where I could find the factory code for the keless entry? Without having to go to the dealership and leaving it there for a few hours?????????Just for them to charge me a few labor hours for info that is rightfuly mine. Thank ahead of time, Jay S Miami Fl.
Do you want the code for the keypad on the door? I believe it is on a sticker under the dash. The sticker should be on a black computer type box. Programming the keyless entry fobs on your keyring is another procedure. Hope this helps. Maybe someone will chime in with the exact location.
If you go by your local Ford dealer and talk to the service writer or service manager when they're not extremely busy and explain what you need to them they probably will help you without any hassle. Also, you might ask the nice person at the dealer to show you how to change the locking and unlocking code numbers to some more easy for your wife and you to remember. And while you're there take a look around and see how they do things there and how they treat customers, you've probably got a bunch of warranty left on the truck and you'll need to get it serviced somewhere.
By now you might have found your keyless entry code or you have paid for the ford dealer to find it for you. In case you haven't, the module that you are looking for is now located under the dash on the PASSENGER's side. Hope this helps.
