New to site. Jumping from GM to Ford. Have been a chevy man for many years but I needed a used truck and ran across a 2010 f150 that was real nice...4.6, auto, tonneau, 8' bed, running boards and it's red.....my favorite truck color, with chrome wheel covers. 80k miles. paid $10,500.00. Don't travel much anymore, just local stuff. Wife won't let me drive her 2016 escape with 4500 miles on it.....says i'll get it dirty. She drives it to the nursing home once a week and the beauty shop once a month.
Now down to business. I don't know how to read the vin...1FTM1CW6AFC28671. how it applies to my particular truck. Any troubles I should be aware of ? Is that a good motor ?
Is it decent on gas ? Prone to rust ? I always get mine oil sprayed every fall ....Ohio salt you know. My last 08 silverado was rust free......then I wrecked it.
