03 mountaineer inconsistent erratic spark

I have an 03 mountaineer 4.0 that has been setting codes 0300 0303 0304 and 0316. Not all codes all the time but usually codes 303 and 304 are set together but sometimes just one. I started out with new plugs wires coil and crank sensor check after each check with no luck. I tried 2 new injectors and still no luck. Now when I first start it up it will run smooth take it out on the road easy driving everything’s fine but get into the throttle good a time or two and get a flashing cel and running rough. Shut it off and start it up and light goes out bring it back and have one if not all 4 codes come up it’s different every time. So tonight I decided to put a timing light on those cylinders to watch the spark. On first start up everything normal hit the throttle a little and spark gets erratic/ inconsistent instead of a steady pulse and stays that way till you shut it off for a little. The only thing I can come up with is I had the motor apart for timing chains/guides and the balancer gave me trouble going back on not wanting to seat all the way. With a little work using sand paper on a sanding drum bit (I guess that’s what you call it) it was a looser fit but got seated all the way. Now watching the balancer it doesn’t seem quite centered and you can watch the tensioner move up and down a little as it’s running. The only thing I can figure is it’s messing with the crank sensor and giving bad signal but it ran fine after the timing chains for a couple months and just recently started giving me trouble. Anyone here have any ideas on what I’m looking at

Spark and injector pulse that would cause a misfire would be more related to the camshaft position sensor in a Ford. Issues with the crankshaft position sensor will tend to cause stalling. I'd suggest checking in to the CMP sensor and wiring.

I'm not sure any conclusion can really be made from finding an already poorly-running engine runs a bit more poorly with the CMP sensor disconnected. Do you have a scan tool where you can determine if any new codes were set by unplugging the CMP sensor, or better yet, where you can datastream the CMP sensor signal to see how it behaves when connected?

I can read codes and it did set a code when I unplugged it can’t stream data though I’ve got a sensor coming today see if it makes a difference

So changed the cam sensor and didn’t make a difference. The only time I can get it to set the codes and go in limp mode is under acceleration it won’t do it while cruising at idle or even at high rpm in park.

You might want to check the fuel pressure under load. That's not going to be easy to do though without a scan tool that can monitor fuel rail pressure. Or maybe you have a bunch of dirty fuel injectors that have trouble making a nice spray pattern at higher duty cycles. I'm kind of just guessing.
