USS Franklin
After PCO paid just a little over 60K.
King Ranch Ultimate FX4 6.2L 8' bed and all the options I wanted. Love my dealer, Tommie Vaughn Ford.
Going to be busy tomorrow doing clear bra and window tint , better know how to lay dow some laminate when in the sign business. Also new FX4 decals, but color matched to the truck.
USS Franklin, Essex class WWII aircraft carrier..I can only guess you picked that name because someone in your family served on that ship, or your last name is Franklin.
Nice! CV-13 USS Franklin (Essex Class carrier) was built at the shipyard where I work. We're building the Ford Class now. No, not named after FoMoCo ... named after Gerald R. Ford.

Yes, it was the most severely damaged ship to survive the war after being bombed which resulted in horrific explosions and fires with many killed and missing.

and that is why I named him after the ship. Hope it is not an omen now. Find the rear of the console looking like this when I got home. Like and idiot I didn't check the back seat area. Only thing back there since about 5:30 has been the floor mat and my hand to take this picture.

Some one screwed up.
Wow, I dont even have any words, I hope the someone was you because for not only the plant to miss that and then your dealer to miss it before turning it over to you has me absolutely dumbfounded.
No big deal. The dealer will fix it likely with a whole new silvery plastic panel and it will be fine. This stuff happens.
It does happen but the dealer should have caught that. No excuse to deliver a vehicle that way or at least sat "parts are on order, will call when they come in".

Nothing I did at all. I got the truck at 5:30 yesterday drove it home with only the all weather mat being the only item lose in the back and when I went to pull out the carpet mat from under the all weather mat.
Looks like install damage all sides of the silver panel is beat up and the brown lower panel has a big cut in it near the seat. The damage on that side would have to had hit the seat to damage that area of the console if the damage happened while everything was installed at the factory.
The damage even going about 3" in to the vent hole.
