Yup the other thread was hilarious. I actually stole my truck name from someone in that thread - "Mistress" - because my wife says I spend more time and more money on my truck than I do with her.
**I wish I could take credit for thinking that up but I can't - but I sure do get a lot of mileage out of it with my friends... :-)
My six year old daughter asked me a couple months ago what we were going to call my new truck, I said, what do you think, and she said, I think Ruby. So simple and generic, but it fits.
I was struggling finding a name for my pickup when a friend told me that his wife called my pickup Optimus Prime. From that point, Opie stuck and we've never looked back.
My family named it Ogre. The license plate starts with OGR. I was kind of hoping for Shrek, since he was an ogre. But Shrek is green and the truck is white gold.
We call ours Beast 2.0. Wife called our '12 150 Max Tow 'The Beast'. We just bought this one, same color, to replace it after the 150 was totaled, therefore, Beast 2.0
