Are you running the stock pulley that came with it or the smaller OD pulley? It sounds like stock based on your work to get it installed.

i installed the smaller pulley. I need to invest into some pry bars and such. was using large screw drivers and didnt have an extra set of hands.

Use a DMM to check voltage directly on the battery terminals when running. That shows you what the batteries are actually getting. Values from a tuner or other devices are impacted by voltage drop that occurs as wiring resistance occurs.

Rather sound dumb and get it right than prove I’m dumb by getting it wrong.

I have this Bosch alternator and would prefer to clock it to match OE orientation. I’ve watched a few vids on clocking but still not comfortable I’ll know what to expect when I separate it. Any tips on clocking, secrets to keeping springs/brushes in place, etc? Thanks.

Thanks Jack. May be another week or two before I get to alternator. I need to put eyes on the vid a couple more times before I ask what I think are going be some clarifications.

I’ve been told I run though things too quick, but then some of these subjects could be War and Peace. Christ I’m already past a trilogy.

Considering I’m been waiting almost 3 months to have a talking voice there won’t be a “talky” video by then.
