Flashing Check Engine Light??
Hey all,
On the way to work today, in driving rain, I started to get a bad miss under load and a check engine light that flashes some of the time. At other times the light just stayed on.
I think this is water on one of the COP units. (big surprise)
Oh yeah, truck is a '97 light duty F-250 with the 5.4L.
What's up with a FLASHING check engine light and what is my best chance of getting this truck home so I can work on it?
Is it worth trying to spray a water displacing lube where the coils are or will this just make a mess and cause more problems down the road.
