I'm sure there have been similar threads to this posted but I thought I would post in case anyone is having this issue. So, I have owned my truck since September of 2005, since about 2007 probably my front windows have been squeaky during the summer months mostly, but I just lived with it. For some reason yesterday I decided to research the issue and fixed it. So here goes. The squeaking is coming from the pulleys in the door, not the track. It sounds like it is the track but it is not. You have to remove the door panel. not a huge deal. There are 2 screws on the very bottom(8 MM) , then you need to remove the power window and lock switch panel, just pry up the front. There is one 13 MM bolt behind there to remove. Then pry off the little trim piece behind the door handle, there are 2 10MM bolts to remove there. Take off the speaker cover and remove the speaker. There are 4 bolts, I think they were 7/32 size I think. Then unplug and remove the speaker. Now you can lift up and out and the panel should be free. Last thing is to remove the door opening cable from the handle then the panel will be completely free of the door. So once this is done you will need to lift up the plastic lining on the door a bit to get access to the inner door, it is stuck real good, just keep working and lift it up about halfway working from the bottom. After this find the pulleys for the window, there are 3 or 4 I think. I used WD 40 specialist silicone spray, but you could use blaster or tri-flow or something similar. Spray them with the window up, otherwise you'll get it all over window. Spray pulleys then work the window up and down a few times, you can spray the track too, keep working up and down, after a few cycles noise should go away completely. Put your inner plastic liner back in place and stick down. Now to put door back on you have to remove the 2 bottom little white plastic tabs that the speakers screw into. Can pull them out or pry them out. Then to put door back on just line up the tabs and it should go in pretty easily with a little patience. put everything back in place and you should be good to go. I wish I would've done this long ago. Was very annoying to me and embarrasing when people rode with me.
