Hello new to site, not new to diesels. I just want to say thank you to some of the members on this forum for some very useful information, I had been chasing a ghost problem that would come and go since December of last year, it's a 01 7.3, I purchased almost every diagnostic tool you can think of including AE, ( Thank you tuggly for some useful info using it ) the truck would die randomly when hot, I threw every thing at it myself ( except for Google ) and learned only quality parts are acceptable, it came down to valve cover gasket/ harness ( made in China ), is no good I am now checking it did not mess up injectors or engine. Once again thank you.
