Hello! Great Site!
Solid chassis, and solid body, with a wheel well patch passenger side, and a a rear cab corner lower passenger side, will make the cab airtight!. I have been searching this site for a lot of the nickle/dime repairs, for the past month, that aren't nickle/dime any more!
A great informative group of people posting. They have become my "go to" group for unfamiliar issues for my needs. Should I find a better fix, I will post it.
I've been a Chevy guy all my life. Started out with a '55 Chevy at 18 in '68, and upgraded to a '57 210 in 1969,which I still own today. Also a '68 SS Camaro not badly molested!
I needed a truck, and bought a Ford, the best trucks on the road!
It just turned out, as I had said an offer I couldn't refuse.
F250 460 with 4wd, and 4.10 posi rear with a "new rebuilt transfer case" the former owner and myself rebuilt together. Unlocked front end. The last tank of gas was, rear tank, 10.88 mpg! 70% highway driving. I'm looking to improve on that issue! I used a thread on here about the "dual purpose reservoir" and deleted it, temporarily, until I replace the front tank! I have, outside the system gotten my valve to move freely to all ports! It would be nice to have a backup tank should a fuel pump fail. Like us old farts, use it or lose it! That's kept me young,,,,,
With a 75 degree dew point down there, you people would probably melt. I can't imagine what it would be like there, under those conditions.
The old saying, it's not the heat, it's the humidity! I realize it more and more every year!
