The book was great...it was in a bundle of books that I bought on FLEABAY. I had never heard of it before randomly pulling it out of the box on Saturday...had trouble putting it down.
We've had plenty of rain...some areas of Eastern MA got up to 8+" of rain last weekend. Not as bad as NY and PA...but...plenty.

I just GOOGLED the author...turns out he died a few years before the book was published...he had left that and 2 others in what was supposed to be a series off with a publisher. He was only 50 years old. I guess I'll have to find the others as well.
We could use some time to dry out...it was raining when I rolled out of bed at 0250 but stopped shortly after that...tomorrow could be dry...but hot...temps headed to the low 90s and...again...humid. After that there's a chance of rain in the forecast for the next 10 days or so. Just MA Nature messing with us.
