My 1995 F350 PSD, 4X4, 4Dr came with Rancho RS5000 shocks on both front and rear of truck.
This is my first diesel truck I have ever owned.
Should I stay with the RS5000 shocks or should I put the RS9000 shocks on?
The only thing I have ever pulled is my 22 foot travel trailer.
Thanks for your time.
I used Bil 5100s on my old 4x4 Super Duty, great shocks. I think they are valved better for modest offroad use, think like an AT tire. The dually has a Bil HDs on it, rides great. I do not care much for Rancho shocks, but lots of guys love them.
Anything beats McParts $10 shocks or dead originals.
i only use bilstein shocks.
ranchos do not last. they always seem to start leaking after around 20k miles.
for the negligible price difference, for me it is a no brainer to just go with the best and be done with it.
