Question Limited Slip?

Do all F-150's come with a limited slip rear differential or are there still some open diffs?

Limited slips are actually hard to find, my 2011 Limited has one and I love it, but I'm pretty sure they were only available in 2011. I believe after 2012 or 2013 you could only choose an open rear or E-lock locking rear diff.

AlaskanEx ... they were only available in 2011. ...
Limited-slip rear differentials have been available in F-150s since forever as a option.

And since they were / are an option, they're not as plentiful as the non-limited-slip.

We are discussing 09-14 trucks correct? They dropped the limited slip somewhere between 12-13. I know you're all about facts so I can't believe you haven't dug up the exact day they stopped offering them. 2015- up no limited slip is offered either.

The gen'13 F-150s' limited-slip rear differential is the electronic-locking rear differential.

BTW ... Have electronic doc' back to 1993 for F-150s, and can excerpt limited-slip rear differential information. Additionally, have owned various 1967 thru 1986 F-series with factory, optioned limited-slip rear differentials. Though not so for the F-1s that I've had.

My 2014 has the e-locking. You pull out on the 4x4 selector to engage.
