93 302 cuts off
sometimes, when stopped like at a red light or stop sign, when i give it gas it either cuts off or comes close to cutting off. also when making a turn at a slow speed it just dies. but it always cranks right back up. i took in in and had a new "idle air control valve" put on and that solved the problem for about a month or so and now it is happening again. i dont know much about truck so any help would be appreciated. also how hard is it to put a new starter on? like it said i dont know much but im pretty good at figuring things out an learning what i dont already know.

TPS is throttle position sensor. Codes are usually stored in the computer when a sensor fails or the comp sees a problem. Ther is a diagnostic connector that is used to "hook-up" to the computer and get info out of it. If you go to autozone, they should be able to "read" any codes for free.

The starter shouldn't be too hard. Disconnect the batt. neg. cable, there should be 2 bolts holding it in, and then a cable on the starter. Biggest problem with starters is usually the bolts can be hard to get at or there isn't a lot of room when dropping it out.
