1/4 glass question

1/4 glass question
Well as i was looking over my 98 expy the other day i noticed that both of the 1/4 glass tilt out windows are saging almost
touching the the body. So i loosened the screws & corrected the
glass height with a feeler gauge all the way around. But after a
few hundred miles they are back to almost touching the body i do not do any off roading 99.9*% of the time it is on pavement. Has anyone else had any experience with this & if so how was it fixed ? I am afriad of over torqueing the bolts on the glass the these 1/4 glass panels are high dollar.
