Travel Trailer being towed in 100+ degree temps by a F250 6.7 PSD, Jake Brake, shifting, etc.

Hey Guys,

So I wanted to create a video showing how our vehicles perform towing. The day I had this planned it was 100 degrees outside. Perfect. I have a highway run I have made other videos on showing MPG...normal driving, extreme MPG, etc.

This video shows while towing a 11,500 travel trailer how the engine performs shifting, tackling a 4% grade at 65 MPG (I know it's no Ike Gauntlet Ha ha) then some engine brake/jake brake performance.

My engine coolant went over 215 so the numerical reading does appear in the video. I think it made it's way all the way to 225 during my video. So heat sink was occurring and the engine just kept on trucking along.

Outside temps were 100 but due to the high humidity the heat index was around 107. Brutal.

This video may help anyone looking to see how the engines perform while towing under rather hot conditions with hills, etc.
