I was wondering if I can go on the highway without feeling like I'm overstressing the engine it has a 3in lift with 35s

Unless there is something wrong with the drivetrain you should be OK. I ran that same engine/trans/gearing with 33's and hauled plenty of weight up to 80mph. It doesn't stay in OD often, but shouldn't hurt anything. Regearing would be ideal, 4.56 would be my pick, but not mandatory.

Are you having an issue at speed?
