Well, put in my version of buckets and console tonight. Now it can all come out for cleaning, man those seats are dirty but otherwise very mint. Can always go back to the trusty bench, but these are growing on me already. Seats are now non adjustable but I got them where I want them.......probably will experience some minor ptsd over the brackets I made, but all’s well that ends well.

I have a set of leather seats from my parts car Mark VIII but these just seem to look more at home in the Green Goblin. Truth is I like the center console most of all, hoping to add cup holders to it somehow, maybe floor level at the front.
I’m not really sure how to best clean my panty’ seats. (That’s what they are called from now on). lol
Is the baking soda idea real or myth? Has anybody dyed panty seats before?

thanks. I ended up using some of that upholstery cleaner in a can stuff and wiping them down. Really surprised st the results. Clean, smell good and the colour evened out. I’ll be happy with panty seats until they go to the upholstery shop someday.

Underseat LEDs today. After fitting my buckets, I was left with some really cool power seat switches that are no longer for power seats. I’ll eventually find uses for them but for now, I figured some floor lighting would be a nice touch. Used LED strips. 3d printed holders for them. Made up a latching relay system to activate them with one of the switches. Pics later.

Really cool switches that deserve a purpose.

Mount the LED strip and figure a way to make it work with momentary switches, otherwise I’ll get a sore arm holding that switch just to get sex lights.

The backlit radio ***** were not easy but worth it. I like the stock looking radio but it has Bluetooth so I can run Sirius from my phone.
Thank you hickory, all the green LEDs in the dash and the green tach and info center along with green floor lighting really light it up. The green halo headlights look good on the green trucks too imo, up here we need daytime running lamps and that’s what my halos are for. Really I think LEDs are one of the best touches for our trucks, fairly dim cabins just pop now. When I set the seats in, I ended up using 1/4” plate along the front of the seats which gave me a natural place to mount the lights, I just made a bracket to fit. I’m thinking of adding underdash and behind seat lighting too - on switch - just because it might be too much light at night.

Bluetooth on/off.
I subbed that out. eBay purchase. It’s a stock radio and the guy added Bluetooth to it. It involved changing the **** posts. I needed an AM/FM anyway so I bought it. This is how I ended up with backlit ***** - the posts he put in were too short for the stock bezel. I had to make a bezel and then thought may as well make room for an led strip in each. The Bluetooth does work well. There is a tiny slide switch on it to turn it on or off which is good.

Under hood lighting. The dealer installed light had a wire hanging down from the hood and a bulb that shone in my eyes more than the engine. I took the courtesy lights out of the doors of that 69 Lincoln and found just enough room to install them in the leading edge of the hood. Used a mercury switch from an old thermostat to activate it. It’s held inside a rubber hose and is a friction fit inside the Center of the double wall of the hood. Works great and now the engine lights up instead of my eyes!

Good choice going bluetooth. I also like that air cleaner lid. I have a crap chinesium one now. Is that just a decal or is that also off the Lincoln you sourced your seats from?
