folding 2nd row seats

How do i get the second row seats in a 2008 ford expedition to lie flat so I can carry cargo?

Fold the headrest forward by pulling the loop by the post, fold the seat back down using the lever at the hinge, get the whole seat to kneel down by pulling the paddle in the middle of the seat back which you can now see with the seat folded.

Not sure what you think the procedure is, but that’s what it is for an 08. You can refer to the owners manual pages 179-181, or you could just have a long history of owning Expeditions, either way, same answer. Conveniently for you to look it up, they have a section titled “putting the 40% outboard sets in cargo mode” on page 180.
