i replaced the front tank pump yesterday, it all went well. Truck runs great.
its pushing gas from the front tank to the rear tank though, the rear tank doesn’t work, the pump was gone when I bought it.
i really don’t want to put a second pump in the rear tank, I won’t use it anyway I’m sure.
what can I do, is there a check valve gone or have I got to replace the pump to stop it leaking. It’s so full it’s coming out the rear tank filler neck.
The check valves are inside the FDM that contains the fuel pump inside the tank, so your only options are replace the rear tank FDM or disconnect and plug both fuel lines to the tank..
