just rolled 80,000 miles on my 2017 platinum. After an 8 hour drive today with several stops my steering column is stuck in the upmost position. Is there a reset or something I can do besides taking it to the dealer?
I had this happen yesterday on my 18 platinum. It just would not move. Shut the truck off multiple times opened the doors restarted and nothing. Finally parked for 3 hours came back out and it started working fine.
This is why folding mirrors, moving seat, and other convenience BS is verboten by me.
More to go wrong. Didn’t turn that **** on in my Audi... no reason to in a truck that cost less than half... repairs ain’t cheap.
Usually resetting the ‘puters by removing battery cable(s) for an hour fixes these glitches.

I had the same thing happen on my 2017. Couldn't do anything to get it to move. Next day everything worked fine. I haven't had a problem since.
I have had this happen twice now, 2017 Lariat Ultimate, 23k miles. The steering wheel moves to its full in/up position then will not move out or down. Shifting to park, stopping, restarted would not fix. I had to shift to park, stop the truck, get out, shut the door, lock it, then re-enter and everything worked again. My seat would also not move in this mode.
I had this problem initially on a Job 1 2017. Yes it is frustrating and finally after putting up with once and awhile issues it finally stuck and took 5 attempts. Luckily this time the dealer found that there are 2 modules but the module that controls this function is actually under the passenger seat. What was found is that although the plug was seated fine, there were pins within the plug that weren’t seated and once fixed, I’ve never had a problem since.
