Power Steering Conversion Problem
Recently converted old power assist in 1972 f250 yo the 1979 gear box. New everything, including pump. I cannot get rid of the whine when turning. Is there a way to adjust? Am I missing something? Any help would be great. Thank you. No leaks or anything.

When I was apprentice attending trade school, the way we were taught to bleed a power steering system was to jack the front of the vehicle high enough that the tires are off the ground, then, with the engine running turn the steering lock to lock a number of times. Check the fluid level of the PS pump to make sure it's not low.
