has anyone replaced the rear camera plug on a 2014 F350 lariat?
on the truck at the shop the plug is corroded from road salt and the camera no longer works.

 

Not on a 2014 bit on a 2010 150. If they are similar that connector is a weak link. The replacement unit is much better insulated. Really easy to replace yourself. You'll break the emblem tabs removing the camera. Resecuring with two sided tape is much cheaper than buying a new emblem.

 

it was actually the plug under the truck, not the one in the tailgate.

kind of a moot point anyway. 2 days after posting the question the truck was broadsided by an idiot that ran a stop sign and totaled the truck.
pushed the rear door and cab corner back to the frame, destroyed the bed, bent the rear axle and knocked it out of the truck, ripped the rear spring perches off the frame, snapped both rear alloy wheels and blew out both tires.
plus frame damage.

not me, boss man was driving. only thing hurt was his pride of being accident free.
