I want to know the name for the color of my truck: it's a 2001 F150 Supercrew, two-tone, navy in appearance, with silver. Does anyone know the name of the blue paint? I've heard Wedgewood Blue, but thought that is different in tone than the navy (almost deep purple in the sunshine) tone of my truck.
You never posted the code from the Data plate.
Wedgewood blue is quite like Dark Ford Blue

Charcoal Blue Metallic Clearcoat KW/M6855
True Blue Pri Metallic Clearcoat L2/M7023
Deep Wedgewood Blue Metallic Clearcoat LL/M6910
My truck is the Wedgewood Blue w/ silver and it matches your description. Paint code is LL. I see Mil1on calls it deep wedgewood whereas I thought it was medium wedgewood. It certainly is dark enough to be deep though. I'll have to check my records at home.
But in the mean time put some Zymol on that beast. Then stand back and go "wow!" The wedgewood color does not stand out until you shine it up.
i agree. Wash the truck with good car wash product, then give it a claybar treatment if you can, then a coat of Zymol and finally a good coat of wax. Takes a while to complete all those treatments but the Zymol polish will make your paint shine for months. i get mine Z. at walmart.
