Need Help Identifying Paint Code - 1976 F250
Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out the paint code on this 76 250. My relative special ordered it to be dark brown metallic and he had to haggle and pay an extra $30 or something to get it factory painted like this. I couldn't find a close match from the fleet colors, but I'm curious what you guys think. He said his trim package was also something he special ordered. Wondering if maybe it's from a different vehicle or something?

I would've swore ND said the lower aluminum trim never came from the factory with racetrack trim. Wonder if that was one of the custom parts of his trim level? It's just too busy with all that trim going on lol

I've never seen that either...not to say it can't be special ordered or done by a body shop. What are the codes on the warranty plate?? (Its a metal plate riveted to the LH door with the VIN on it).

Yeah, he said he hadn't seen another pickup like it. I'm wondering if he's trying to value it or something. But ya, he did say that he ordered it like this from the factory.

The Race Track mouldings were added by a previous owner, because they weren't available until 1977.
OP: What is the COLOR code stamped on the Warranty Plate (riveted to the left door face below the latch)?
Note: Pic in post #4 is the Safety Standard Certification Label that is glued to the left B pillar below the striker plate.
This label has the production date, VIN and misc. GVAW/GVWR's printed on it...and that's it!
