I know for the 6.7 the owners manual states to wait till the truck tells you oil change is required, but due to circumstances, some medical that kept me off my feet, I have not put many miles on my truck this year. In October it will be 1 year since oil change, question should I go ahead and have it changed, I am leaning towards yes. but the truck hasn't said so. Also in the owners manual for the 6.2 it says every 6 months if not on mileage. Oh I only have about 2k miles since last change. Finally starting to get back on my feet after spinal surgery so maybe by October I can take it to get changed,
Ty I guess as soon as I can lift enough to pull my cover off I'll take it for a oil change. Ok was able to get in truck and check my Forscan lite app, oil life is at 24% with only 2k miles so the monitor must also take age into consideration.
I've seen a few post that members have posted about their trucks calling for an oil change with only a few thousand miles after purchase . I assume it does actually take time into the calcs.
Hope you are back up to speed soon !!!!!
