The hardwood floor restorers finished their job yesterday and it looks great ! They were able to sand down that raised section near the kitchen wall where the water infiltrated from the ice maker hose leak very nicely....Can't see ANY sign of damage!

Good morning Bud-land...and...wandering truckers. Another Triple H Day here also Bud...I'm not sure we'll see the same extreme heat you get...but...94* with 70% humidity...heat index around 115* is more than enough for me. My A/C is filing a complaint with the state alleging cruel and unusual punishment.

Glad the floors came out OK Bud...it's amazing the job some of those companies do.

 

Hit 104 on the back yard thermometer yesterday before it started back down.... humidity 74%..... Only supposed to go to 93 today.... but always warmer here than at the airport where the temps are recorded. But ever at 93 it's gonna feel like 103 they say.

 

WOW...those numbers are ridiculous...good thing you've got A/C.

 

Central air in MD is a must 1 ! Time for the Wash Post...later guys.

Good late morning Landers and stay cool. Looks like we are going to top out in the upper 80's today before the humidity and heat builds back in for tomorrow.

 

Indoor/outdoor thermometer reads 102.6 right now.....humidity is at 60%. Feels like 100% humidity tho..... The 102 slaps ya right in the face when the door opens !!! Indoor temp 76* Fees a lot colder tho it's so dry inside.I can hear the water draining into the sump.

So much for cooling today...97* and wet (like humid not rain) !

Trying to get the RV ready for towing tomorrow morning. Gotta keep coming in to get water.... the stuff on my body is too salty ! Getting close tho.....all hooked up. Still gotta put my clothes in - load the rest of the food which won't go in until the morning - hook up the XM radio and Garmin in the truck (that's next job today) and I think we'll be ready to head out. Leaving about 10 - I HOPE! Think I'll wait till after sun goes down to load clothes and stuff...to danged hot out there right now.

Ken, if you see this - I tried to get your CD burned but software won't let me do it correctly...will figure it out next week. It'll play on the computer but a CD player sees it as a data file instead of a music file.
