Main Engine Wiring Harness
Hello,
I have a 1995 E350 cargo van with the IDI 7.3 TD. It runs fine, but then it acts like it is running out of fuel and sometimes will die altogether. I've waited a few minutes and restarted it and it's fine until it starts to sputter again.
My shop has changed the fuel pump, transfer pump, oil change with 15-40 diesel oil, fuel filter, checked and cleaned all fuel lines, removed and cleaned fuel tank / replaced broken screen, IPR valve, and IDM.
After installing the IDM it started and ran fine, then they wiggled the wiring harness and the poor running and sputter started again.
Long story short I'm looking to replace the Main Engine Wiring Harness, but being a 1995 it's now an obsolete part ( F5UZ-12A581-NK ). The engine decoder says that the IDI 7.3 was used in E350s from 1994-1998.
Would a cargo van main engine wiring harness from any of those years work in my van?
