First post, here, after searching for a few hours, no one seems to have this "problem". I have inherited the in laws '04 Navigator after totaling my beautiful Denali at Christmas. Boy, do I miss the 400 hp and 2 extra gears, but the Navi is a really sweet substitute. was a CO truck, so no rust and it had 32K on it when we drove home - it now has 45K.
On to the question - seems the seats "time out" after I think 15 minutes and cannot be turned on again unless I turn the truck off and restart. Anyone have this problem or have a workaround?
Now, if I could just get rid of that rear end whine, all would be good!
My 2006 times out as yours, but I believe you can turn them back on without cycling the key. This was not possible when the driver side seat upper blower motor was bad. There was no indication there was a problem (except for the short timeout) until I pulled the codes using a code reader/application that can pull/read MSCAN module codes.
