I have had my 2008 f250 CC long box V10 for 10 Year’s now, Valentine’s Day. Merl would be proud as it has lasted 10 years. 68000 miles. I don’t use this everyday, but when I use it I use it. 5-7 cords of wood a year, dragging trees out of the brush. Our week long vacation, 24 foot trailer. 1986 ski boat on the good days all summer. General family on call use. Fall hunting in the Idaho mountains. Year after year for a decade. Tires, 2 sets of brakes, should have been 3 😬 some steering parts from a few spring mud holes, shocks. That’s it so far. I have used and abused it. It’s agreat rig and I have never regretted ordering it.
I have had some problems with it yes. 40 point turn arounds, snow and mud without weight in the back or chains
is ridiculous and my average 9 mpg sucks. But when I drag that red fir out of the brush into a shady spot on the road or the wind coming up the gorge can strip paint I don’t give a **** about my mpg. Thanks to Ford for a great truck. Roy T, N Idaho.
