New Member Rant

Hello everyone. My name is Bruce and I joined this forum because I noticed that it was sponsored by CARiD. Well, that's interesting because they are the absolute worst car parts company that I have ever dealt with. You see, when ordering parts they are great and have fantastic customer service. But, after they screw up and send you the wrong vehicle specific part they turn into a bunch of *******s. First, they will blame you for ordering the wrong part and then they will try to make you pay the return shipping and charge you a restocking fee. Then, after all of that BS they will send you an email and tell you to destroy the part and send them a photo of the destroyed pieces. Still, no money back. I wouldn't purchase another part from those *******s if they were the last choice on earth.

So, that's quite an introduction. Sorry for coming off so angry but CARiD really is a POS. Don't use them....

Anyway, 1993 F-250, 7.3L IDI, 240k miles,. I'm currently working on the AC. After long research I have decided to keep the R12. Bought 60 oz of R12 on eBay and will restore system to original.

Hi Bruce CARiD is not our only sponsor it is one of many, I suggest you try one of our others that do not have problems giving back your money...please do use FTE as a resource from the members to find great vendors....and please do follow our guidelines about language....
