1991 F250 Engine and gauges stop suddenly?

I need some help on solving a problem with my electrical system. I live in the rainy Pacific NW, my 1991 F250 Lariat 460ci gas runs OK, always seems to run when I need it. Picked up a couple yards of rock, headed down road. About 10th of a mile later the truck stops running. The gauges don't work, and the windows don''t work all the keyed accessories don't work, and no power to the solenoid from the switch, but the headlights and brake lights and dome lights work. AC has never worked since I owned it and the heater fan only worked when it was on high. I turned the heat on just before the electrical failure. The starter works fine when I jump the solenoid. Checked all the fuses and replaced the ignition switch actuator on the steering column. I did check and replace the questionable fusible links. Still nothing. What is my next logical check point? Thanks for any suggestions or past experience with a similar problem.

So, your heater always on high issue is your Blower Motor Resistor, that Thermal Limiter needs replacement.

You should take the time to check, clean or replace all of your ground connections, this would be a start to your troubleshooting this.

Start with the battery grounds to the engine and body.

Connections can look good, but internally could be corroded.

Check Fuse Link G, (Brown Link) Yellow wire/s, that feeds your Ignition Switch, it's up by your battery.

Check that Yellow wire from the Ignition Switch back to the Fuse Link up by the Battery.

Check for Battery voltage on the Yellow wires connected to your Ignition Switch.

That was it. the wires at the repaired fusible link connection were frayed, and corroded under the insulation. Cleaned and reattatched Everything works fine now . Thanks for the help.
