Hey guys, I have a 2009 F350 Crew cab with a backup camera . The display is in the mirror and getting harder and harder every day to see without glasses . I installed a Pioneer DVD head unit with a nice big display a few years ago and tried to hook it up to the factory wires but all I had at the time was some scrap wire laying around the garage. Well when we hooked it up the display was snowy as crap and messed up the video on the mirror as well so we unhooked it I figured it was probably because the wire wasn't shielded. So we unhooked the wires and left the connectors for another day,That was @ 3 or 4 years ago. Fast forward to today I had to replace the leaking evaporator coil (gotta have air in Florida!) and while we had the dash out i ran some nice shielded cable from the radio to the passenger side kick panel where the wires with the connectors are still setting waiting to get hooked up. Problem is I cant remember which wires do what. The wires are Green /brown White /green Brown /violet. Ive searched and read 1/2 a day on the internet and cant find the answer. I think White /green is video + then Brown /violet is video grnd. and Green brown is the trigger but I don't remember and i don't want to skrew up my cam. Any Idea??
