1987 HP
I have heard a lot of different things about my truck. One person told me the 87 5.0 in my F-150 had 215 HP new. Others said 210,200,185,150,and 135. Who if anybody is right? Just wondering. Also, where could I find that information?

I think the EFI302's horsepower rating in 1987 was 185 net horsepower. A 1987 F-series owner's manual and/or a 1987 F-series brochure should both list horsepower&torque ratings for all engines,plus the factory tow rating of each engine/tranny/axle gearing combination offered that year.Hope this helps you out.
