Electronics issues w/ climate control & Audio
I have a reasonably early (10NOV17) build F250 Lariet ultimate. 41,XXX w/ a 125,000 mile extended warranty on it. I have not done a thing to the truck except the following.
Displaying numbers on the temp gauges
Displaying DPF %
Displaying Heat/Cool seat and steering wheel heat control on Sync Screen
Changed the splash screen on the sync boot sequence
Upgraded to Sync3 3.0 via USB stick
What I have been noticing is that the truck will default to a certain setting at times regardless of what it was on when I last turned it off. For instance, it was for a while defaulting to the XM radio being on. Another, the seat cooler was on full blast on my side. Yesterday I has the windscreen defogger on full blast. This morning driving into work I turned the regular AC on...auto. When I got back in the truck to run to the store on my break, all of the settings from last night were back on exactly how they were when I shut it down last night...after I had changed them while driving 40 miles to work.
I called the dealership. Nice girl...she seems to think that the PCM is going out.
What do you guys think?
