The remaining injectors are probably dirty. I have fixed a few rough idles with Motorcraft PM-5 injector cleaner. You have to use a injector cleaning tool that attaches to the fuel rail so the engine only runs on the fuel in the tool. The PM-5 is mixed with some gas and the engine is run until the tool is empty. But, I wouldn't worry about cleaning the remaining injectors I would replace them asap. Dont want a repeat of this 375 post monster.
Come to think of it, why didn't you s**tcan the original injectors in the first place? One of them was the root cause of all of this!
Most likely cost was a factor. I remember when the extended coverage was active the warranty cost for the injectors was $9 each. Ford plays some dirty tricks with their parts pricing.
Well I finally got a code today cylinder five misfire. Is cylinder five on the drivers sde closest to the firewall or radiator? Any suggestions on what this could be? I mean I’ve change boots And cleaned the rest changed the plugs one thing I didn’t change the coil or the injector.
#5 is closest to the radiator. You said it runs good but has a rough idle? Ignition misfires usually are the opposite, it idles fine but runs rough at speed. You could try moving the injector on #5 to #6 and the coil on #5 to #7 and see which cylinder sets the code. Too bad you don't have a scan tool with power balance capability.

Too bad you don't have a scan tool with power balance capability.
I don't know WHICH one that would be. There are several that 'purport' that capability. But my exhaustive efforts shows that the task (power balance) requires communication rates that surpasses any Bluetooth adapter/ scanner that I'm familiar with. With direct USB connection set at 500k you might get a clean reading if the OBDII scanner equipment was fast enough. I have the PID # that displays the cylinder number that each ignition pulse is sent to. The number changes so fast that Torque Pro (with Bluetooth adapter) can't even keep up logging ONLY that single PID. It should show the firing order - repeating over and over, but it just skips all over the place. FWIW.
I agree, I appreciate Torques analysis and knowledge. But on a sadder note, I still have the cylinder five misfire. I don’t know I’m a little worried now but I’m not gonna look at the truck until this weekend because Michael’s coming to town. I hope a bent valve wouldn’t cause this cause I know I put my overhead, cams on reversed. Any thoughts about what else this could be I hope it simple
Pull the spark plug and do a compression check, then check the compression on #1 cylinder and see if there is a big difference. You could just have a bad spark plug.
Thanks yard bird, but I change the plug yesterday along with the coil in the injector. A compression test it’s a good idea though I’ll do that this weekend
@70f , yes I erased the codes. I can tell something is missing by the way it's running. It's not horrible I have acceleration but it sounds like ........? A boat exhaust.. Its miss firing for sure
