DMV Vision testing
Hi,
I just renewed my DL (MInnesota), and there was an issue on the vision test that I didn't understand.
The machine showed several lines with 3 boxes in each line. They just wanted me to read the top line. (No problem -- I thought). I could read letters in 2 boxes, but the 3rd one looked blank. The lady asked me about that and I said that it was blank as far as I could tell.
She marked the test as passed and didn't say what the 3rd box was supposed to test. Does anybody know how one of the boxes might look blank? I wondered if it might be low contrast, but I have no way of knowing. I googled a bit but couldn't find anything but generic info about the standards.
